This book takes a look at the highs and lows of the lives of football’s bad boys and rebels — those who have carved out a place in the minds of fans worldwide and added a kind of aggressive, violent excitement to the game.

People with their own distinctive lifestyles for whom suspensions, expulsions from the pitch, and disciplinary punishments are commonplace — and football would certainly be lacking without them.

Bad Boys of Football is a full-color collection of footballers who once experienced being “bad boys.” The book tells the stories of these men and their mistakes. From Maradona, Zidane and Eric Cantona to Gattuso, Suárez, Paul Gascoigne, Chilavert, Olivier Kahn and Wayne Rooney,  and other great footballers in history.

Translation in Iran

The translation of the book published in Iran in 2018 by Goalgasht. This project was my first cooperation with this publication which specially works on sports literature and prints sportsmen biographies and autobiographies.
